Declaration on accessibility
This declaration on accessibility applies to the apps of Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg GmbH published in the PlayStore (Android) and AppStore (Apple).
As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavor to make our mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on equal opportunities for people with disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz Nordrhein-Westfalen (BGG NRW)) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance North Rhine-Westphalia (BITV NRW) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102. The accessibility requirements are set out in Sections 3 and 4 BITV NRW, which was issued on the basis of Section 10e BGG NRW.
Status of compliance with the requirements
The review of compliance with the requirements is based on an assessment carried out on 29.04.2025 to 05.05.2025 by an external service provider (BITV test).
Based on the self-assessment, the apps are not compatible with the aforementioned requirements.
Content that is not accessible
We are making every effort to further improve the accessibility of our apps. We ask for your patience, as we sometimes have to intervene in the programming of the apps. Below you can find an excerpt of the non-accessible content:
- Text alternatives for videos and graphics are sometimes not available.
- Some tables are not fully labeled.
- Navigation within maps is limited.
- A few texts do not have sufficient contrast.
- For various forms:
- The automatic completion of stops cannot be navigated with the keyboard, so a selection is not possible.
- Some descriptive labels and designations are missing.
Date of creation or last update of the declaration
This declaration was created on 19.05.2024 and last updated on 19.05.2025.
