The Bergisch hiking bus
Just in time for the start of the Easter vacations, bus route 267 will go on tour as the "Bergischer WanderBus" on all Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and bridge days in the period from April 12 to October 5, 2025. It will take you to the Bergisch excursion destinations around the hiking region on the Eifgenbach and Dhünn rivers.
You can start or end attractive hiking routes at various stops on the lines. Numerous catering establishments near the hiking trails also invite you to linger and enjoy good Bergisch cuisine.

The Eifelsteig hiking bus
The Eifelsteig hiking bus (line 770) starts the new season on April 18, 2025 and runs on all weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as well as on public holidays and bridge days until November 1, 2025. You can use it to reach the stage destinations of the Eifelsteig hiking trail and its partner trails, the Castle Route, the Eifel Spring Trail and the Eifel Herb Trail, or be picked up again here.
Upper Ahr Valley hiking bus
From April 1 to November 1, 2025, the "WanderBus Oberes Ahrtal" (line 899) connects the towns of Altenahr in the district of Ahrweiler and Blankenheim as well as the train station in Blankenheim-Wald in the district of Euskirchen.
The offer is particularly interesting if you want to walk the "AhrSteig" premium hiking trail.
