eezy.nrw in the Rhineland is an electronic tariff (eTarif) that you can use with an app on your smartphone.
The price is made up of a basic price and a price per kilometer and is calculated based on the distance as the crow flies between your start and destination.

The maximum price for journeys with eezy.nrw in the Rhineland is 27.80 euros* for 24 hours (from the first journey) in 2nd class.
In 1st class, this 24-hour price cap is: +50% on the price for adults, 2nd class
This is independent of the number and duration of journeys made. Journeys made after the maximum price has been reached must be booked via the app - but they will then be charged at 0 euros each.
There is no maximum price per journey.
The price is capped separately for each passenger. Additionally checked-in adults or children receive their own 24-hour price cap.

In addition, eezy.nrw in the Rhineland has a monthly price cap of 63 euros. This means that all journeys made within a calendar month via the "VRS eezy.nrw" app cost a maximum of 63 euros in total. Journeys made after the price freeze has been reached must be booked via the app - but they will then be charged at 0 euros each.
The price stop of 63 euros only applies to journeys within NRW, because eezy.nrw can only be used in NRW! Another prerequisite for the price freeze of 63 euros is that all journeys are made with the same eezy app. The price cap is applied separately for each passenger. Additionally checked-in adults or children receive their own monthly cap.

In the Rhineland, eezy.nrw is generally particularly attractive for journeys from and to the surrounding communities of Aachen, Cologne or Bonn.
