With a monthly ticket, you can travel a lot and save a lot of money in the end. With a subscription you save even more.

The MonatsTicket is valid around the clock in the selected cities and municipalities. You can use it flexibly from any desired starting day for one month - e.g. from the 15th of one month to the 14th of the following month. On the last day of validity, you can use the ticket until 3 a.m. (on the following day).

Childrenup to the age of 5 travel free of charge on buses and trains. Children who do not yet attend school also always travel free of charge, even if they are already 6 years old. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 travel with discounted single and 4-person tickets at the children's rate.
With a monthly ticket, you can take up to three additional children (aged 6 to 14) with you free of charge from 7 pm Monday to Friday and all day on weekends and public holidays (until 3 am on the following day).
With a monthly subscription ticket, you can also take one person over the age of 14 with you during these times and you can take children with you from 3 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays.
You can take your dog with you free of charge on the VRS. Please make sure that a dog is always accompanied by a suitable person - and, depending on the breed, wears a muzzle. The seats are reserved for people. All animals must adhere to this.
With a monthly subscription ticket, you can also take a bicycle with you free of charge from 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and all day on weekends and public holidays (until 3 a.m. on the following day).

The MonthlyTicket is freely transferable for individual purchases and subscriptions and can be passed on to anyone.
Important: A MonthlyTicket that you have purchased via the OnlineTicket or HandyTicket sales channel is considered a personal ticket and may not be passed on to others.

If you wish to cancel your monthly season ticket subscription before the end of the first 12 months, you will pay the difference to the slightly more expensive monthly tickets purchased individually at the same price level for the period used up to that point.
(Example: If your monthly season ticket costs 10 euros less per month than the same ticket purchased individually, you will pay 6 x 10 euros, i.e. 60 euros, if you cancel your season ticket prematurely after the first six months. If you cancel after the first three months, you will have to pay 3 x 10 euros, i.e. 30 euros).
After the first 12 months, you can cancel your subscription on a monthly basis without having to pay the difference.
