SemesterTicket

Travel by bus and train with your student ID.

The SemesterTicket gives you unlimited mobility as a student on the entire VRS network - for a flat rate of just 169.90 euros per semester ( as of WS 2024/25 and SS 2025). However, you must always carry a valid photo ID with you.

The SemesterTicket must be purchased by you as a student together with the student social contribution at the university on the respective re-registration date.

The SemesterTicket currently costs 169.90 euros per semester (status: WS 2024/25 and SS 2025).

From WS 2025/26, the costs will increase to 180 euros per semester.

Unfortunately not available as a HandyTicket.
