Simply upgrade, first-class driving in NRW.
For an extra 79.30 euros* per month, you can use 1st class on local transport throughout NRW. This is one of the upgrades available for the Deutschlandticket and Deutschlandticket Job. The upgrades are valid throughout NRW and are available as a subscription with a monthly cancellation option - with eTicket, as a HandyTicket or OnlineTicket to print out.

The NRWupgrade1.Klasse is valid for one calendar month for any number of journeys on buses and trains throughout NRW - depending on the validity of your actual travelcard.
The regulations on bicycle transport in the NRW Conditions of Carriage apply.

As a subscription, NRWupgrade1.Klasse is renewed on a monthly basis unless you cancel it. You must cancel by the 10th of the month to take effect at the end of the month.
