EinzelTickets

The ticket for single journeys from A to B

Available for short distances (K) as well as in the price categories 1 to 7 for longer trips. Separate ticket offered for adults and children.

Available from VRS transport companies (customer centres, buses, trains, ticket vending machines) and many private sales outlets (kiosks).

4erTicket

The ticket for four single journeys

Available for short distances (K) as well as in the price categories 1 to 7 for longer trips. One field must be stamped per person and per trip. Separate ticket offered for adults and children.

Available from VRS transport companies (customer centres, buses, trains, ticket vending machines) and many private sales outlets (kiosks).

24StundenTickets

Free travel - 24 hours a day

Travel 24 hours in the selected price category. Available in the price categories 1 to 7. Separate ticket offered for individuals and groups of up to 5 people.

Available from VRS transport company (customer centres, buses, trains, ticket vending machines) and many private sales outlets (kiosks).

AnschlussTicket

The extension for timed tickets and subscriptions.

For a journey beyond a timed ticket's validity. Valid in the VRS network at an all-inclusive price. Only valid in conjunction with a VRS timed ticket or subscription (WochenTicket, MonatsTicket, Formel9Ticket, Aktiv60Ticket, SchülerTicket/SemesterTicket/DualTicket or JobTicket).

Available from VRS transport companies (customer centres, buses, trains, ticket vending machines) and many private sales outlets (kiosks).

JobTicket

Cheap travel for employees.

Travel every day round the clock throughout the VRS network.

Available for employees whose employer has concluded a JobTicket contract with a VRS transport company or for whom the employer can use a JobTicket framework contract as a member of an umbrella association (e.g. Chamber of Industry and Commerce).

The JobTicket can only be obtained through the employer. The price depends on the location of the company and the number of employees.

WochenTicket

Valid for one week with flexible start.

Valid around the clock for one week from the day of your choice. Available in the price categories 1 to 7. You need a customer card (available from VRS transport companies' customer centres) to buy a WochenTicket.

WochenTickets are available from all sales offices of the VRS transport companies, and in some cases also from ticket vending machines at bus stops.

MonatsTicket

Valid for one month with flexible start.

Valid around the clock for one month from the day of your choice. Available in the price categories 1 to 7. You need a customer card or subscription (both available from VRS transport companies' customer centres) to buy a MonatsTicket.

Customer cards, tokens and order forms are available at the customer centers of the VRS transport companies. Tokens are also sometimes available from ticket vending machines at stops.

MobilPassTickets

Discounted 4erTickets and MonatsTickets

Discounted 4erTickets and MonatsTickets for holders of a MobilPass or a Köln-Pass or Bonn identity card. Available in the price categories 1 to 5. Only valid in conjunction with a MobilPass, Köln-Pass or Bonn ID as well as a valid photo ID. You also need a customer card (available from VRS transport companies' customer centres) to buy a MonatsTicket MobilPass.

MobilPass tickets are available as 4-trip and monthly tickets from VRS transport companies (customer centers, ticket vending machines at bus stops and from bus drivers).

Formel9Ticket

The cheap MonatsTicket from 9.00 a.m.

Valid for one month from the day of your choice. Mondays to Fridays from 9.00 a.m., all day on weekends and public holidays. Available in the price categories 1 to 5. You need a customer card or subscription (both available from VRS transport companies' customer centres) to buy a Formel9Ticket.

Customer cards, tokens and order forms are available at the customer centers of the VRS transport companies. Tokens are also sometimes available from ticket vending machines at stops.

Aktiv60Ticket

For anyone aged 60 and over.

Valid around the clock from the first day of the selected calendar month. Available in the price categories 1 to 7. Only available as a subscription for people aged 60 and over.

Aktiv60Tickets are available as a subscription with personal advice in the customer centres of the VRS transport companies.

PrimaTicket

The ticket for primary school students.

For school trips between their home and primary school. Available in the price categories 1 to 5. Only available as an annual ticket (school year) for primary school pupils in years 1 to 4 (primary level).

PrimaTickets are available as school year tickets with personal advice at the customer centres of the VRS transport companies.

SchülerTicket

Mobile for a whole school year.

Valid round the clock for a whole school year in the VRS-SchülerTicket network.

Available for pupils of many primary schools, secondary schools and full-time vocational colleges in the VRS network. The price depends on the school's location.

Only valid in conjunction with a valid student ID with photo.

The SchülerTicket cannot be bought free of charge, but can only be ordered through the school. Order forms are available at the school secretariats and at the local transport companies.

Further information about the conditions valid at the school location can be obtained from the VRS transport companies.

AbsolventenTicket

Mobile through the summer - for school leavers.

The summer bridging pass for school leavers up to the age of 20. Valid from 1 July up to and including 30 September 2021 on the VRS network.

Only valid in conjunction with an official photo ID.

The AbsolventenTicket is available exclusively as a HandyTicket at a flat rate of 105.30 euros.

Sales via the HandyTicket shop will start around mid-May 2021.

AzubiTicket

The cheap subscription for apprentices.

Valid every day round the clock throughout the VRS network. Available as a subscription for anyone who has at least 12 months of training, federal volunteer service, voluntary social work or an ecological year ahead of them. Only valid in conjunction with a current work, service or identity card with a current photo.

You can obtain AzubiTickets as a subscription with personal advice at the customer centres of the VRS transport companies.

MonatsTicket for apprentices

The cheaper MonatsTicket.

Valid around the clock for one month from the day of your choice. Available in the price categories 1 to 7.

For trainees who only need a cheap ticket for a few months or do not want to commit themselves.

A certificate is required from the school or training centre to purchase a MonatsTickets for apprentices over the age of 14.

You can obtain MonthlyTicket for apprentices as a subscription with personal advice at the customer centres of the VRS transport companies.

SemesterTicket

Travel by bus and train with your student identity card.

Special fare for all students at participating universities and colleges.

The student card is also valid as a SemesterTicket.

The SemesterTicket must be paid by each student together with the student social contribution at the university on the respective re-registration date.

The SemesterTicket currently costs 134.80 euros/semester (WS 2020/2021).
