Weekly ticket

The WochenTicket is valid flexibly around the clock for seven days in the selected cities and municipalities - regardless of the calendar week. For example, you can travel from Thursday of the current week up to and including Wednesday of the following week. On the seventh day, the WochenTicket is valid until 3 a.m. on the following day.

Childrenup to the age of 5 travel free of charge on buses and trains. Children who do not yet attend school also always travel free of charge, even if they are already 6 years old. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 travel with discounted single and 4-person tickets at the children's rate.

You can take your dog with you free of charge on the VRS. Please make sure that a dog is always accompanied by a suitable person - and, depending on the breed, wears a muzzle. The seats are reserved for people. All animals must adhere to this.

To take a bicycle with you on the WochenTicket, you need a FahrradTicket. It costs the same for every journey within the VRS network - no matter how far you travel.

The weekly ticket purchased individually is freely transferable. You can pass it on to another person if you are not using it.

Please note: WochenTickets purchased as OnlineTickets or HandyTickets are considered personal tickets and may not be passed on to others!
