4-ticket MobilPass
Cheaper with MobilPass, Köln-Pass or Bonn ID card.
The 4-ticket MobilPass is a discounted ticket offer for holders of a MobilPass or a Köln-Pass or Bonn ID card. Available in price levels 1 to 5.
You can use the 4erTicket MobilPass if you receive one of these benefits:
- Citizen's allowance and social benefit (SGB II)
- Housing benefit
- Benefits for basic security in old age and reduced earning capacity as well as ongoing assistance with living expenses outside of institutions (SGB XII)
- Standard benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (also for unaccompanied minor refugees)
- Ongoing benefits for war victims in accordance with the Federal Pension Act
You can apply for these cards at the job center or social welfare office of the city or at the Landschaftsverband Rheinland.
Please note: The discounted ticket is only valid if you have your MobilPass, Köln-Pass or Bonn ID and a valid photo ID with you!

KölnPass and Bonn ID card holders receive higher discounts due to further cost coverage by the cities of Cologne and Bonn.

The 4-trip MobilPass ticket has a limited period of validity. As soon as the ticket is validated, it is valid as follows, depending on the price level:
- 90 minutes in price level 1,
- 120 minutes in price level 2,
- 180 minutes in price levels 3 and 4,
- 360 minutes in price levels 5, 6 and 7.
At the end of these times, the journey must be completed. (Exception: timetable or operational reasons, e.g. longer transfer times, delays, etc.).
The exact services and prices of all tickets are governed by the NRW local transport conditions and the VRS fare regulations.
