Carnival mobility at a carnival price! With the KarnevalsTicket, you can travel as often as you like on the VRS network for a whole six days during carnival (from Weiberfastnacht up to and including Veilchendienstag*).
The KarnevalsTicket is also valid in the so-called small border traffic VRS/VRR as well as on journeys to and from Titz, Merzenich, Düren, Nörvenich and Vettweiß in the AVV and on selected lines from and to the districts of Altenkirchen, Neuwied, Vulkaneifel and Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate.

* February 12 to 17, 2026 closing time (= 3 a.m. the following day)

The KarnevalsTicket is valid for one person. It can be used for a full six days (from Weiberfastnacht up to and including Veilchendienstag) for any number of journeys on the VRS network.
The KarnevalsTicket is also valid in the so-called small border traffic VRS/VRR as well as on journeys to and from Titz, Merzenich, Düren, Nörvenich and Vettweiß in the AVV and on selected lines from and to the districts of Altenkirchen, Neuwied, Vulkaneifel and Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate.
