The cheap subscription for apprentices.
Valid every day round the clock throughout the VRS network. Available as a subscription for anyone who has at least 12 months of training, federal volunteer service, voluntary social work or an ecological year ahead of them.
Only valid in conjunction with a current work, service or identity card with a current photo.

No matter where your journey takes you: the AzubiTicket costs a flat rate of 64.10 euros per month and is valid throughout the entire VRS network.

For 20 euros more throughout NRW!
Those who regularly travel outside the VRS can permanently extend their AzubiTicket to the whole of NRW with the NRWupgrade - only the VRS transport regulations do not apply here.
The NRWupgrade costs 20 euros per month in addition to the VRS AzubiTicket price and is available by subscription from the company from which the AzubiTicket was purchased.

Validity duration and scope
Valid around the clock on the VRS network every day from the desired calendar month.
The AzubiTicket must be purchased for at least twelve months and is valid until the end of the apprenticeship at the longest (certification by the training institution required).

Children under 6 years can be taken along free of charge.

Dogs can be taken along in the VRS network free of charge as long as they are under the supervision of a suitable person. Dogs that are a danger to passengers must wear a muzzle. In general, animals must not be accommodated on the seats.
Holders of an AzubiTicket may take a bicycle with them free of charge from 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and all day on weekends and public holidays (in each case until 3 a.m. the following day).
Trainee ticket holders may take one person over 14 years of age and up to three children (from 6 to 14 years of age) free of charge from 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and all day on weekends and public holidays (until 3 a.m. on the following day). Children can now be taken along from 3 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays.

Personal ticket
The AzubiTicket is non-transferable and only valid with a current company, service or personal ID card or driving licence.
Connection beyond the VRS
The EinfachWeiterTicket NRW enables cross-network journeys to all tariff zones within NRW. Passengers who have a season ticket or a network-wide KombiTicket from one of the four network tariffs in North Rhine-Westphalia can travel comfortably and cheaply throughout NRW with the EinfachWeiterTicket NRW.

The AzubiTicket is for apprentices, BuFDis (Federal Volunteer Service), FSJler (Voluntary Social Year), FÖJler (Voluntary Ecological Year), master students according to the Upgrading Training Assistance Act (Aufstiegsfortbildungsförderungsgesetz) or civil servant candidates of the lower and intermediate civil service.
Those who can present recognition of an introductory qualification year (EQJ) lasting at least twelve months within the meaning of § 26 of the Vocational Training Act can also use an AzubiTicket. For shorter EQJs, we recommend the MonatsTicket Azubis/Schüler as a ticket.
In principle, the training must be recognised and must continue for at least twelve months. Training and duration must be certified by the training company via order form.
The AzubiTicket can still be purchased even if the apprenticeship is already running. The only condition is that the training continues for at least twelve months and is certified by the training company.
If the training ends prematurely, the AzubiTicket must be returned. In addition, the difference to a JobTicket in the optional model must be paid back to the respective transport company per month used.
